Des Paltoglou

After working for the Department of Administration Services for eight years, completing import clearances and logistic services for the Australian Government, Des entered private practice. Des established Customstar Pty Ltd in 2001 to provide specialised art and museum exhibition services and general international freight logistic services for domestic and international clients. Today, Des is a qualified Licensed Customs Broker and a member of the International Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers Association (IFCBAA) and has a total of 30 years of experience working in the international freight industry. Des and her team can support all importers and exporters through the border clearance and freight delivery process.

Aleko Paltoglou

Aleko likes to say that he was practically born into the freight forwarding industry. After growing up watching Des tirelessly provide an excellent service to her clients, Aleko has now joined Customstar. Aleko often works closely with clients to advise on the import and export requirements for a variety of shipments. Aleko is currently finishing his qualifications to become a Licensed Customs Broker like his mum. Aleko is also studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours)/Bachelor of Communication (Entertainment Industries) at university.
